Fantastic and affordable! I got takeaway since I was just eating by myself and didn't feel like waiting in line for an hour -- I was quoted 20 minutes for the wait, so I walked there and my food was hot and ready.
I ordered a roti canai with chicken curry and a tea tehrik (spelling?) The roti and curry were incredible. Filling and flavorful. The tea was less sweet than I was expecting, which was actually a pleasant surprise. It's not like Thai iced tea at all in its sweetness level, but it's delicious and refreshing. A very filling meal for a tenner left me satisfied!
If you eat big meals the portion of the roti canai might be a bit small, but at £6.50, getting two portions is entirely reasonable. -

Judging by the line this should have been like the best Malaysian food we've ever had outside of Malaysia (note: one of us is Malaysian). Nope, it's not...
But it's plenty decent. The roti was OK. The Nasi Lemak and Mee Goreng were good, if not authentic. The Murtabak was OK.
Prolly pretty tasty for the area but one of us is from Malaysia, so... -

This is the best restaurant I went to in London by far. I have lived in Singapore before, and this was my first time having truly authentic Singaporean/Malaysian food in the past few years.
I went twice - the first time, I waited for 1.5 hours to be seated for dinner, and I got there around 8pm. The second time, I waited for about 30 minutes, and it was the middle of the afternoon.
I can recommend everything I had: the Roti Canai, the Roti chicken special, the coffee/tea, and the Beef Rendang. It's worth the wait! -

Hands down one of the best Malay/Indian food in London you could imagine. The store is open at noon, and by then the queue (line) lol is already long. I missed my train to Amsterdam at the St. Pancras' station, so I went adventuring around the locals foodie restaurant. I was not disappointed at all. You can a very very good deal with Laksa( the dish I ordered) with a drink for 11 pounds. So good and satisfying! The coconut curry just melted in your mouth with the excellent aroma of curry. The seafood combination with chicken are just right, and it served hot. Definitely I will come back to the place once I'm in London.

I don't get the "some of the best food I've eaten" comments. I mean, the spinach and cheese roti was delicious but it's cheese and carbs, of course it is! The basic roti canai though- 2 pieces of roti with daal- is just fine. The roti itself is buttery, flakey and wonderful to eat but the daal whilst having a nice and spicy taste, is not out of this world. Got it all for takeaway as I don't understand why people are queuing for hours to sit. At least it's cheap.
